- Weekly hours: 25.5 – 42.5 hours
- Shift timing: 6am – 9pm, Monday to Sunday

The Role: Cook
What You’ll Do
You’ll be leading our team, ensuring high-quality meal preparation while maintaining hygeine, safety, and consistency. Key responsibilities include:
- Setting up workstations with ingredients and cooking equipment.
- Inspecting food quality and reporting issues to management.
- Preparing ingredients for cooking (peeling, chopping vegetables, cutting meat).
- Following strict recipes and cooking methods for consistent, high-quality food.
- Portioning, arranging, and garnishing food to specifications.
- Cooking using tools, appliances, and following regulations.
- Monitoring and enforcing Health & Safety, security, discipline, and due diligence.
- Conducting food safety checks and recording standards.
- Adhering to company and legislative food safety, health, and hygiene requirements.
- Managing goods-in reception for compliance, quality, and shelf life.
- Using effective stock rotation to minimise waste.
- Supporting stock control, including stocktaking and ordering.
- Collaborating with the team on tasks per your skillset.

Skills & Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- Education: Good standard
- Communication: Excellent (ability to work under pressure, multitask)
- Attention to detail with strong focus compliance.
- Experience: At least 2 years in catering or food preparation.
- Food Safety: Minimum Level 2 qualification required.
- Commercial awareness with ability to track sales, costs, and profitability.
- Age: 18 years or older (legacy requirements).
