Cook Manager – Saintfield Lodge Care Home
Location Saintfield Lodge Care Home, 4 Old Saintfield Road, Carryduff
About the Role Electus Healthcare is recruiting for a Cook Manager at Saintfield Lodge Care Home. This opportunity is perfect for an experienced, forward-thinking individual passionate about food who understands the importance of using fresh ingredients to provide high-quality meals and beverages for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, order supplies, prepare, and present appetising, nutritious meals while meeting dietary requirements (including modified diets and cultural preferences).
- Ensure compliance with COSSH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety regulations.
- Manage budgets, stock levels, food orders, and deliveries.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Lead kitchen staff training, recruitment, and rota management.
- Work 36 hours per week, following a rotational shift pattern (Mon–Sun).

Requirements
- Minimum qualifications:
- Level 2 Food Safety Certification
- No less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Full training and support provided to maintain exceptional catering standards.
