Clarence Park Residential & Nursing Care Home
Clarence Park Residential & Nursing Care Home is a well established service in Weston-super-Mare, located close to the seafront and set within a characterful Victorian townhouse. Supporting up to 43 residents, the home provides high quality nursing, respite and palliative care within a calm, welcoming and team focused environment where staff can build meaningful relationships and make a genuine difference every day.
Cook Contract
- £12.71 per hour
- Contracted to 17 hours per week
- Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview
As Cook, you will play an important role within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs by preparing and delivering high quality, nutritious meals that support wellbeing and enhance daily life.

You will prepare and serve meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, including modified or specialist diets where required, ensuring high standards of presentation, hygiene and food safety are maintained at all times. Working with fresh ingredients, you will support menu planning and contribute to a varied and balanced dining experience.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. This role offers a consistent routine and strong work life balance while still allowing you to take pride in delivering quality food every day.
What We Are Looking For
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Experience in a kitchen or food preparation role
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Understanding of dietary requirements, including modified or specialist diets, is beneficial
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A positive and reliable approach
