As a Cook at Aria Court Care Home, you’ll ensure our catering services and residential dining experience meet the highest standards of quality for our residents.

After a recent refurbishment, Aria Court is now a modern 92-bedroom care home with fully updated facilities, including:

  • A hair salon
  • Multiple dining rooms
  • Stunning gardens supplying fresh produce

The kitchen team is award-winning, with their own cookbook featuring their best recipes. Aria Court is recognized as one of the leading residential care homes in March, Cambridgeshire, committed to delivering exceptional, safe and comfortable care for residents.


About The Role

The Cook will support the Head, Sous and Assistant Chefs to deliver exceptional dining services and maintain the highest quality standards for residents.

  • Salary: £13.00 per hour
  • Hours: 39.75 hours per week, worked on a rotating shift pattern (Monday–Sunday)
  • Location: Coronation Close, March, PE15 9PP

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory, statutory, and company policies for high-quality catering.
  • Supervise Kitchen Assistants, maintaining strict service standards.
  • Address and implement internal and external audit requirements within deadlines.
  • Maintain impeccable kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.

Training, Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in a kitchen environment (preferably in a care setting).
  • NVQ Level 2 in Food Hygiene – essential.
  • Experience in a care setting is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, with an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
