We have an exciting opportunity for a CMM Programmer to join our QC Team at our brand new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Basingstoke. The role:

As CMM Programmer, you will proactively pursue continuous quality improvement activities, provide QC engineering/technical support as required. You will develop measurement and CMM capabilities and continually improve the qualitive and quantitative activities throughout the Quality Control Department.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Programming / operating / managing CMMs and all related tasks. Writing and proving out own programmes without supervision. Producing/interpreting and analysing CMM results Using all other company measuring equipment as part of the verification process of parts as required Liaising with all required interfaces in particular Design and Manufacturing Engineering as applicable Working on your own and as part of a team Working to time plans and priorities as agreed Carrying out investigations as required Assisting where required in quality improvement with subcontractors and suppliers Responsible for assisting in all department tasks as required Maintaining and managing company CMM programmes Assisting in the pursuit of companywide ownership and implementation of quality improvement and corrective action systems Investigating new/alternative Methods of Inspection Design tooling and fixturing as required for new and existing products Creating CAD models and drawings Reverse engineering of CMM fixtures when required Liaising with suppliers (as required) to manufacture fixtures

As CMM Programmer, you will have the following:

Key skills and experience:

Degree or OMC/HNC equivalent Mitutoyo MCOSMOS experience Working knowledge of ISO9001, ISO13485 MS Office experience to a minimum of intermediate level Programming Video Measuring Machine (VMM) Good working knowledge of SolidWorks software Strong communicator with good interpersonal Analytical skills Ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimum support
