The Cart Shed Catering 2020 Limited is a Beverley-born and bred outside catering company specialising in life’s most precious and memorable events. We offer street food, including:

Job Overview
- Role: Coordinator
- Location: The Beverley Barn and surrounding areas
- Hours: Part-time
- Hourly Rate: £13.70
- Reports to: The Cart Shed Manager

Job Description
To be successful in this role, you must possess exceptional organisational and communication skills. Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to client emails and telephone calls
- Hosting meetings to understand their specific catering needs and-group sizes
- Creating timelines and ordering documents for the Cart Shed Manager
- Capturing on-the-day content for social media
- Acting as a strong leader and ensuring the team meets high service standards

You will also:
- Recommend and implement improvements to optimise operations
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Ensuring staff understand their roles for the day
- Preparing all equipment and packing the van
- Setting tasks for team members
- Creating client-specific files upon booking confirmation
- Designing timelines for events
- Managing allergen requests
- Completing order forms for the chef
- Ensuring the pre-planned timeline remains on track
- Maintaining cleanliness and managing temperature records
- Updating the "on-the-day" coordination file
- Managing and overseeing events, including problem-solving
- Setting up seating arrangements, room layouts, and tables (including tableware)
- Completing checklists accurately
- Capturing photos and videos for social media
- Checking and reporting damages post-event
- Overseeing staff clock-in/out procedures
- Writing thank-you cards for clients

Additional requirements: -Ability to work with flexibility across weekdays, evenings, and weekends
- Availability to work during holiday periods
- Commitment to training days and courses
- Willingness to provide feedback to management
Experience & Skills Required
- Minimum 2 years’ hospitality experience (bar, restaurant, or hotel)
- Full UK driving licence required
- Strong written and spoken English skills
Training will be provided, but hands-on hospitality experience is preferred.
