Court of Protection Senior Solicitor – Kent
A well-established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Court of Protection Senior Solicitor ready to take the next step into a Partner role within its specialist team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with clients who have sustained catastrophic injuries, including brain and spinal injuries, while playing a key role in the continued growth of a respected practice.
The Role You will manage a varied and complex Court of Protection caseload, supporting clients who have suffered life-changing injuries and require assistance with financial, property, and welfare matters. Key responsibilities include: Acting on a broad range of Court of Protection matters for clients with catastrophic injuries, including brain injuries, spinal injuries, and other serious conditions. Managing clients' financial affairs, property matters, and welfare decisions. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, families, deputies, case managers, and other professionals. Supervising, mentoring, and supporting junior members of the team. Contributing to business development initiatives and helping to grow the Court of Protection practice. Collaborating with partners and colleagues across the wider firm.

About You The successful candidate will have: Significant Court of Protection experience as a Senior Solicitor, Legal Director, or equivalent, with the ambition and capability to progress into a Partner position. A strong background in catastrophic injury, brain injury, or serious personal injury-related Court of Protection work. Excellent client care and relationship management skills. Commercial awareness and an interest in business development. A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a specialist team.
