Copy of Electrical Supervisor

Electrical Supervisor

Dowds are seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join our delivery team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of electrical works on site, ensuring activities are delivered safely, to programme, to the required quality standard, and in line with Dowds Group procedures.

The role focuses on workface delivery, effective coordination of labour and subcontractors, and supporting the wider project team to achieve successful project outcomes, across a range of electrical installation projects within the building services sector.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise daily electrical site activities, allocating labour and tasks in line with the contract programme.
  • Coordinate electrical operatives and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in sequence with other trades.
  • Monitor progress on site, identifying delays, risks or technical issues and escalating to the Electrical Contracts or Project Manager as required.
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and the Dowds buying team to ensure timely procurement, delivery, and installation of electrical materials, equipment, and plant.
  • Ensure installations are coordinated with mechanical, construction, and other interface trades.
  • Promote and maintain high standards of health & safety across site operations, ensuring compliance with company management systems, risk assessments, and method statements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
