Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
As guardian of our brand tone of voice and written word, you’ll lead and own the development of our core communications Develop and write compelling content for the agency’s digital platforms, ensuring consistency that effectively communicates the services, values, and industry expertise Create persuasive and targeted B2B & B2C marketing content to nurture leads and build client relationships Lead our LinkedIn strategy, collaborate with executives to develop thought leadership content, including blog posts, opinion pieces, and interviews Work closely with the Corporate Communications Team to draft key messaging for public relations campaigns Research industry trends and insights to ensure content remains relevant, innovative, and impactful Edit and proofread Marketing & Sales materials like RFP responses, sales decks and content to maintain high-quality standards across all communication channels Develop industry event content and concept panel talk themes and content ideas Maintain a deep understanding of the sports marketing landscape to craft industry-specific narratives that enhance brand authority

Skills And Abilities
A natural storyteller who knows how to turn ideas, strategy and raw content into beautifully crafted narratives You work with speed and precision, the ability to self-direct and work with minimal supervision Highly organised, thrive in high-pressure environments, stay focused and sharp when deadlines are tight Detail-obsessed but never lose sight of the bigger picture You’re curious, culturally aware and have a passion for sport, culture and storytelling You’re proactive and solutions-focused, if something isn’t quite right, you instinctively find a better way The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of key internal and external stakeholders (often in different countries and time zones) A strong team player that is flexible dependent on business demand You care deeply about craft, clarity and impact, and want your work to help win business
Knowledge And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred 4+ years of experience in copywriting, content creation, or editorial roles, preferably within a marketing or agency environment Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in writing across various formats and platforms Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail Ability to tailor messaging for different audiences, from social media to executive communications Experience writing B2B & B2C content and understanding of digital marketing strategies Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital content optimization Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Passion for sports and an understanding of the sports marketing industry is a plus Integrates AI tools to improve idea generation and workflow

Working Conditions
This is a permanent position This role will be based at Chiswick Park, with some flexibility on remote working as appropriate Working hours are 9:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday May be required to attend (and travel to) locations, including other IMG buildings and meetings Unsocial hours may be required, as dictated by the demands of the business schedule Adapting to use of new systems and technology where appropriate
