Established in 1981 with a single store in the Northwest of England, the JD Group is a leading omni-channel retailer of Sports Fashion, Outdoors and Gyms with our colleagues working in stores across several retail fascias in many markets around the world. Copywriter Reporting to: Copywriting Manager Key Objective: A Copywriter creates clear, engaging and persuasive copy across all digital and marketing touchpoints, adopting the JD tone of voice in all written communication. They will need to be competent with a range of systems and Microsoft Office to complete their daily workload, while being creative in their approach to all tasks.

Responsibilities:
Produce product descriptions for all categories Understanding and adopting the JD tone of voice in all copy Writing engaging blog posts to support marketing, brand, product and sport messages Format blog copy into WordPress using basic HTML Introductory SEO skills Crafting CRM copy for JD and JD STATUS including subject lines, email copy and push notifications Creating engaging copy for paid channels, following strict word counts Improving rankings with new and updated product listing page copy Update JD UK & IE site content to promote new and trending collections

Skills and Experience:
