About the Role
Join our creative team as a Copywriter, reporting to the Senior Copywriter. Your mission: empower investors and traders with clarity and confidence, breaking down complex ideas into engaging, accessible content—whether it’s social campaigns, email journeys, educational materials, or thoughtfully crafted UX copy.
You’ll craft a distinctive voice rooted in clarity, conviction, and customer-centred thinking, making financial markets more approachable. Your voice will serve a broad audience—from first-time investors to experienced traders—as IG expands its customer reach.
Welcome your repertoire of:

Your Team
Sourced within the UK Creative Studio, you’ll collaborate closely alongside:
- Designers (bringing visuals to life)
- Motion designers (crafting dynamic storytelling)
- Web editors (optimising digital delivery)

What You’ll Do

Strategy & Concept:
- Deliver big-idea-driven copy across channels (social organic/paid, OOH, email, CRM, in-app, web, UX landers, long-form).
- Understand the core insight behind every brief—not just execute text.

Tone & Authenticity:
- Champion IG’s uniqe tone of voice; adapt register flexibly across each channel and audience (e.g., expressive to reassuring).

Cross-Collaborative Living:
- Work seamlessly with designers/motion creatives to merge copy with visual strategies.

Customer-Centric Design:
- Craft targeted CRM messaging segmented by audience and journey.
- Develop performance copy for acquisition (paid social, display, landing pages).

Quality as Standard:
- Understand the industry across creative, legal, and compliance—your final line of fact-checking.

Social Maturity:
- Contribute monthly, platform-native social content aimed at audience conversion.

What We’re Looking For
Essential
✔ Portfolio-first: Tracks with depth of conceptual strength over short, repetitive execution. ✔ Multi-channel mastery: Proven ability across social, OOH, email, UX/web, video scripts and long-form. ✔ Regulated industry experience: A track record in a high-compliance vertical (financial services, pharma, energy, telecoms etc.) with skill translating nuanced detail. ✔ Autonomous discipline: Curiosity-driven; consistently seeks new perspectives on briefs. ✔ Copy-proofing: Unmatched grammar rigor and proofreading eye.
Desirable (plus points)
🔹 Financial services familiarity: Or a knack for distilling technical or complex topics perfectly. 🔹 Performance awareness: Familiarity with SEO, CRM segmentation, and ** چندین-led creative strategy**. 🔹 Experience with content management systems and digital tooling.
