The Opportunity
As a Sales Specialist, your primary mission will be to exceed sales targets by promoting our Blood Sciences product range and cultivating strong customer advocacy. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Acquire and Grow Business: Strategically identify and manage new business opportunities, building solid relationships with key stakeholders to enhance and protect market share.
- Consultative Selling: Move beyond mere transactions! Consult with customers to devise tailored solutions that transform their service delivery model for maximum impact.
- Strategic Pipeline Management: Develop clear sales action plans to maintain a robust sales pipeline while achieving broad business objectives in a competitive landscape.
- Tender Expertise: Take the lead in crafting winning tender responses, ensuring successful new business acquisition and retention.
- Internal Collaboration: Foster strong relationships within the organisation, contributing to the overall success of the sales team through effective matrix management.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay focused on learning and gathering deep customer and market insights to inform business decisions, maintaining our competitive edge.

Who You Are
- A background in Biomedical Sciences
- Have DIA experience
- A results-driven individual with a growth mindset, ready to tackle the challenges of a strategic sales role in healthcare.
- Educated to degree level or possess equivalent professional experience.
- Exceptional in communication and interpersonal intelligence, inspiring and influencing a diverse customer base.
- Confident in making informed business decisions and consistently achieving results by delivering value.
- Previous experience in sales or account management within healthcare is preferred, along with familiarity in tender processes and matrix management.
What We Offer
- A fixed-term contract for 12 months with a competitive daily rate ranging from £331.10 to £397.31.
- A dynamic work environment where your contributions make a real difference.
- The opportunity to cover the West Midlands, with potential outreach to adjacent counties based on business needs.
