The post holder will be part of a team responsible for the assessment of women’s and neonates needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of care pathways for antenatal and postnatal women and babies requiring transitional care without direct supervision.
You will provide leadership and support on a shift by shift basis on the mixed Transitional Care and IOL/LSCS ward to support safe care through effective clinical leadership and role modelling.
The post holder will be a band 6 midwife.
To provide the highest standard of midwifery care in conjunction with other disciplines for all women and birthing people attending Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals.
The post holder will be autonomous in their practice and provide evidence based care following hospital and NMC guidelines.
