About the role
At Newcastle United, we are building something extraordinary on and off the pitch. As our Corporate Affairs Project Manager, you will play a central role in delivering high-profile, strategic initiatives that shape the Club’s reputation, influence, and long-term success.
Operating at the intersection of strategy and delivery, you’ll partner with senior stakeholders, coordinate complex projects, and turn ambition into meaningful, measurable outcomes. What you’ll do
You will support the delivery of the Club’s Corporate Affairs strategy, ensuring alignment across internal teams and external stakeholders while driving key projects forward with clarity and pace.

Working closely with senior leaders, you will act as a connector across departments—bringing structure, energy, and accountability to critical initiatives that underpin the Club’s ambitions.
You must have...
- Proven project management experience within complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Strong ability to manage multiple workstreams with excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving capability
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across teams
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience
It’s not essential but it would be great if you also have...
- Project management qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience within professional sport, public affairs, or corporate engagement environments
- Understanding of reputation management and stakeholder landscapes
