Corporate Commercial Associate – Partner

Department: Corporate & Commercial Employment Type: Permanent – Full Time Location: Poundbury Reports To: Evelyn Adfield

About the Role

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Solicitor (Senior Associate to Partner level) to join our highly successful Corporate Commercial team in our Poundbury office. Our talented team manages a varied and engaging caseload with high-quality clients. Within this role, you will undertake fee-earning work on both corporate and commercial client matters, assisting with current workloads while playing a key role in developing and expanding the department’s client base.

Your responsibilities will also include assisting with the management and development of the team, including providing effective supervision and delegation to colleagues.

In addition to corporate commercial expertise, we are seeking a team player who values each member of the team and the wider firm, recognising the collective contribution to Porter Dodson’s success. Key Responsibilities

This role is ideal for an ambitious, proactive, and enthusiastic individual with exceptional interpersonal skills. You must have strong experience in both transactional and general corporate matters, with a particular focus on:

  • Commercial contracts, including:
    • General contracts
    • Supply agreements
    • Distribution agreements
    • Franchise agreements
    • Terms and conditions
