This is an exciting opportunity to sit at the heart of our Food business, creating engaging communications that connect colleagues to our strategy, celebrate our successes, and strengthen our reputation with customers, media, and business partners.
Working closely with senior leaders across Food, Corporate Affairs, and PR, you'll bring strategic stories to life through compelling content, events, campaigns, and colleague communications. What You’ll Do
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Support the Corporate Communications Manager to deliver colleague communications across the Food business, delivering engaging content through newsletters, intranet channels, town halls, and weekly huddles attended by 400+ colleagues.
- Develop proactive corporate stories and campaigns that enhance the reputation of M&S Food, activating them through media, owned channels, events, and leadership opportunities.
- Organise and manage major colleague engagement events, including weekly and monthly huddles and large-scale business kick-off events.
- Partner with senior stakeholders, PR teams, content specialists, and external partners to produce compelling communications, maintain comms plans, and support key moments in the corporate calendar.

Who You Are
Your skills will include:
- Significant experience in communications, including internal communications experience within a large, complex organisation.
- Outstanding writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate business strategy into clear, engaging, and inspiring messages.
- Proven experience supporting transformation, culture change, or strategic business programmes through effective communications.
- Strong content creation and campaign planning expertise across multiple formats, including video, digital content, events, presentations, and colleague communications.
- Resilient and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work at pace, and build strong relationships with senior business partners and external partners.
