Corporate Communications Manager Birmingham (Hybrid) £42,000 - £46,000
Looking for a communications role where your work genuinely influences how an organisation and region is perceived at the highest level?
We're partnering exclusively with a high-profile organisation that's helping shape the future of the West Midlands. As it enters an exciting new phase of growth, they're looking for a Corporate Communications Manager to lead the development of compelling corporate messaging, supporting senior leaders and strengthening the organisation's reputation with key stakeholders.
This isn't a traditional PR role. It's an opportunity to become the voice behind an organisation with a significant regional impact—crafting executive communications, developing thought leadership and translating complex economic, policy and investment priorities into clear, engaging narratives.
Working closely with the Head of Media & Communications, you'll help define how the organisation communicates with government, partners, businesses and colleagues, ensuring every message reinforces its vision and strategic ambitions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
