Solicitor | Legal Counsel – Capital Markets & Traded Products

The Role
Location: London, UK (Hybrid: 10+ working days in-office per month) Join Ripple’s premier legal team as we accelerate the future of financial services and digital assets. This is more than a role—it’s an opportunity to pioneer cutting-edge solutions in capital markets, traded products, and prime brokerage.
What You’ll Do

Commercial Negotiations Draft and negotiate commercial agreements across all business lines, from products to partnerships.

Product Development Collaborate with business and product teams to introduce next-generation financial solutions.

Regulatory Strategy & Compliance Provide practical, commercially grounded advice on UK, EU, and global financial regulation—licensing, structural compliance, and engagement.

Corporate Governance Support governance matters, general corporate legal issues, and regulatory filings.

Trading & Capital Markets Advise on prime brokerage, execution platforms, and traded products (e.g., crypto assets, structured products).

- Financial Services & Digital Assets Serve as in-house counsel for stablecoin issuance, cross-border payments, and custodial services.
What You’ll Bring
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor (activated in England & Wales).
Experience
- 5–8 years’ PQE (Post-Qualification Experience) with a focus on:
- Capital markets, traded products, or prime brokerage.
- In-house or top-tier private practice experience in financial services.
Expertise
- Strong grasp of UK/EU financial services regulation.
- ** Dominik html and css eiffel-trained** understanding of traded products, structured finance, or/securities operations.
- Digital assets knowledge preferred (e.g., stablecoins, DeFi, crypto custody).

- Ability to simplify complex legal issues for business audiences.
