Corporate Credit Analyst
Corporate Lending Credit Analyst (Associate level) – London
We are seeking a Corporate Lending Credit Analyst to join our growing Corporate Clients & Lending team in London.
This role supports the assessment of new lending opportunities and the ongoing monitoring of a portfolio of corporate clients across sectors including:
- Food & Agriculture
- Energy Transition
- High-Tech & Digital
- Industrials
Key Responsibilities
- Assess credit risk and structure lending transactions, including financial modelling, ratings analysis, and business plan evaluation.
- Analyse financial performance, forecasts, management quality, industry dynamics, and deal structures.
- Monitor portfolio risk through annual reviews, covenant testing, and periodic financial assessments.
- Identify early warning signs of credit deterioration and recommend appropriate actions.
- Prepare high-quality credit papers and respond to queries from risk and approval stakeholders.
- Support new business activities through client and market research, working closely with Relationship Managers and Product Specialists.
- Manage priorities effectively to meet review cycles and transaction deadlines.

Skills & Experience
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Experience analysing financial statements and building financial models.
- Solid understanding of credit analysis, lending structures, and covenant protections.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in corporate banking, credit risk, leveraged finance, or a related field is preferred.
