Overview
As an Analyst on Susquehanna’s Research team, you will partner with our senior analysts and traders to identify investment opportunities in the credit and bond market. Research analysts provide real-time opinions on breaking news and in-depth analysis of future events. You will be responsible for finding opportunities that other market participants may not be capitalizing on, either by discovering new information or considering existing knowledge from a different perspective. Analysts are embedded in a strategy-focused trading desk and the analysis you provide will directly impact trading decisions.

- Identifying opportunities in, and analysing the fundamental credit position of, companies in both performing high yield and stressed bonds
- Providing real-time opinions on breaking news on a corporate and macro level
- Evaluating special situations such as mergers and acquisitions, LMEs, restructurings and other corporate actions
- Collaborating with fixed income, ETF and derivative traders on investment ideas and taking ownership of risk
- Performing in depth financial analysis on possible credit events in collaboration with equity analysts, from the long and short side

What we’re looking for
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in financial markets or progress towards CFA qualification an advantage
- Experience in credit analysis, fixed income trading and/or cross-asset research
- Strong written, analytical, and financial research skills
- Demonstrable interest in macroeconomic environment and political events
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Familiarity with a catalyst/event driven trading environment preferred
- Must be a self-starter, a quick learner, an effective communicator, and resourceful in solving problems
- Willingness to work additional and flexible hours when necessary
