TL;DR

We're looking for a Corporate Development lead to build and scale Lovable's M&A and strategic investment function, working closely with top startups in Europe. You'll shape Lovable's reputation as the top place for talent and startups to do the work of their life, working directly with Lovable's senior leadership to evaluate, execute, and integrate strategic acquisitions and investments that accelerate our roadmap.

What We're Looking For

  • 15+ years of experience across VC / growth equity / investment banking and corporate development
  • At least 5 years operating at a senior level inside high-growth technology companies.
  • Demonstrated success leading and closing multiple M&A transactions end-to-end, including deal structuring, negotiation, and post-close integration.
  • A strong personal network across the European (and ideally global) startup, VC, and technology ecosystem, with credibility to open doors at the founder and C-suite level.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership skills — able to align legal, finance, product, and executive stakeholders around complex deals.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, with experience presenting to boards or senior leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Own and evolve Lovable's overall Corp Dev strategy, advising senior leadership on where M&A and investment fit into the broader company roadmap.
  • Build and lead the sourcing engine for new deal opportunities aligned with strategic priorities, including managing relationships with bankers, VCs, and other intermediaries where relevant.
  • Build, lead, and scale Lovable's M&A process and the cross-functional team supporting it.
  • Lead founder conversations at the most senior level, translating insights into actionable strategic recommendations.
  • Represent Lovable at key industry events, deepening our ecosystem and brand presence among European founders.
