Corporate & Events Fundraising Manager

St Andrew’s Hospice | Airdrie | Permanent | 35 Hours per Week

Lusona Consultancy is delighted to continue our partnership with St Andrew’s Hospice by supporting the recruitment of this critical role within their Income Generation Team. St Andrew’s Hospice is one of Scotland’s leading providers of specialist palliative and end-of-life care, supporting patients and families across Lanarkshire.

As the Hospice continues to develop its ambitious income generation strategy, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate fundraising professional to join the organisation as Corporate & Events Fundraising Manager.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Income Generation, you will lead an established Corporate & Events team and become a key member of the Senior Income Generation Leadership Team. This newly created position offers a unique opportunity to shape and drive fundraising growth across corporate partnerships, major gifts, sponsorship and flagship events.

You will play a pivotal role in helping the Hospice achieve its income ambitions, building meaningful relationships with businesses, donors and key stakeholders while leading a high-performing team. Your success will directly support the delivery of vital services that make a difference to the lives of patients and families across Lanarkshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop the Corporate & Events Fundraising Team.
  • Drive income growth through existing and new corporate partnerships.
  • Develop and implement a Major Gifts Programme.
  • Manage and expand sponsorship opportunities across fundraising activities.
  • Provide strategic oversight of fundraising events and business engagement initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with supporters, sponsors, major donors and corporate partners.
  • Deliver against ambitious fundraising income targets and budget objectives.
  • Represent the Hospice at networking events, presentations and fundraising activities.
  • Contribute to the wider Income Generation Strategy and organisational growth plans.

About You

We are keen to speak with experienced fundraising professionals who can demonstrate:

  • Proven success in corporate fundraising and event management.
  • A track record of delivering six-figure income targets.
  • Experience securing sponsorship and developing long-term business partnerships.
  • Strong relationship-building, networking and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing teams.
  • Commercial awareness combined with a passion for charitable impact.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Access to a vehicle and flexibility to attend occasional evening and weekend events as required.
