Citadel Source is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Finance Executive to join our well-established client based in Central Bristol.

About you

The successful candidate will be a hands-on, driven individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to achieving both personal and team objectives. They will be dedicated, enthusiastic, and possess excellent communication skills, working effectively within a high-performing team. Ideally ACA/ACCA/CFA qualified (or equivalent), the candidate will bring strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency, preferably with proven experience in due diligence, financial analysis, and financial modelling. Candidates should have prior experience in a comparable professional environment, with a robust understanding of core accounting principles.

The role

The Executive will work closely with Managers, Assistant Managers, and Directors, playing a key role in supporting the delivery of M&A and funding mandates. You will help ensure accurate and timely information is shared with stakeholders and support the smooth running of deal processes from start to finish.

As an Executive, your role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Supporting transaction workstreams across M&A and funding processes
  • Preparing information packs, financial analysis, and research
  • Building and maintaining virtual data rooms
  • Reviewing financial models and drafting sections of Information Memorandums and Funding Proposals
  • Conducting market research to identify buyers, investors, and market trends
  • Coordinating deal administration, including document distribution and confidentiality management
  • Assisting with due diligence and liaising with clients and external parties
  • Contributing to valuations and supporting analytical work
  • Preparing client materials, updates, reports, and presentations
  • Upholding quality, compliance, and confidentiality standards
  • Managing multiple tasks and deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Participating in team meetings, sharing insights, and supporting continuous improvement
  • Engaging in networking and business development activities where appropriate
