Upsilon Family is a global Multi-Single-Family Office (MSFO) delivering integrated Family Office, Business Advisory, and Asset Management solutions to an international client base, supported by hubs in New York, London, and Kuala Lumpur, with a global footprint spanning the Americas, EMEA, and Asia.

PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION:

The Corporate Finance & Investment Management Internship Programme provides a structured framework through which Upsilon Family engages with exceptional early-career candidates seeking meaningful exposure to the disciplines of Corporate Finance Advisory and Investment Management.

Participants will contribute to real analytical work under close professional supervision, engaging across research, transaction evaluation, pitch preparation, due diligence, and market and sector analysis within our Business Advisory and Asset Management activities. The Programme is designed to be intellectually demanding, professionally formative, and directly relevant to a career in finance or investment.

Participation is selective and structured. The firm admits a limited number of candidates per cohort to ensure the quality of supervision, mentorship, and professional development that the Programme demands.

The ideal candidate is an intellectually curious and professionally ambitious early-stage student with a genuine commitment to building a career in finance or investment. They demonstrate disciplined thinking, a proactive approach to learning, and the maturity to operate within a rigorous professional environment.

Prior professional experience is not required. What distinguishes successful candidates is analytical rigour, receptiveness to structured feedback, and a sustained interest in financial markets, investment strategy, and advisory work — qualities that cannot be taught but can be developed within the right environment.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

ACADEMIC:

  • Pre-university or undergraduate student, ideally in 1st or 2nd year and on track for a 2:1 classification or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

  • No prior professional experience required. A demonstrated interest in finance, investment, or management consulting is advantageous.

SKILLS (AI):

  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and large language models (LLMs) applied to structured research and professional workflows. Candidates should demonstrate understanding of prompt formulation, iterative refinement of AI outputs, quality control, responsible use of AI technologies, awareness of model limitations, data accuracy considerations, and the importance of confidentiality and professional judgment.

SKILLS (IT):

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom

KEY DETAILS:

POSITION:

  • Structured as a part-time developmental engagement of approximately 10 hours per week over a period of up to 12 months

MEETINGS:

  • Twice per week (30–60 minutes per session), scheduled for [TO BE DECIDED] UK time.

WORK SETTING:

  • Remote-based.

COMPENSATION:

  • This is an unpaid developmental programme. Participants will receive structured mentorship from experienced practitioners across family office advisory, corporate finance, and alternative investments, a professional reference upon successful completion, and a certificate of participation.

  • Participants who demonstrate exceptional commitment and performance may be considered for future opportunities within the firm, subject to organisational needs and formal recruitment processes at the relevant time.
