Corporate Finance / Lead Advisory Partner (Bristol) £120,000 - £160,000 + significant bonus + long-term equity potential

Most regional Corporate Finance Partner roles still expect the same thing.

Build everything yourself. Originate endlessly. Navigate internal politics. Work harder every year for diminishing upside.

This isn’t that.

This advisory platform already sits within a substantial accountancy and professional services ecosystem across the UK, with thousands of existing client relationships, embedded referral routes and a significant amount of untapped transactional opportunity.

There are already:

  • established accountancy relationships
  • internal referral channels
  • dedicated origination support
  • offshore lead generation infrastructure
  • existing deal flow

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The opportunity is not “build Bristol from scratch”.

The infrastructure already exists.

The focus now is bringing in commercially credible advisers who can build relationships, convert opportunities properly and help scale a Lead Advisory platform in the South West.

This role will suit someone who:

  • enjoys the advisory side more than aggressive broking
  • is credible with business owners
  • wants to monetise relationships properly rather than endlessly cold originate
  • is frustrated by increasing bureaucracy within acquisitive firms
  • wants genuine quality of life without sacrificing earnings

The wider advisory platform already operates at meaningful scale and has ambitious growth plans over the next few years.

Compensation is designed differently to many competing firms:

  • strong fixed salary
  • flexible benefits allowance
  • collaborative team bonus structure
  • significant upside without unrealistic expectations
  • long-term equity opportunity

This is not a culture built around 80-hour weeks or internal empire building.

It’s a grown-up environment with smart people, proper infrastructure and realistic expectations.

This is aimed at established senior advisers with a proven track record operating within lower mid-market Lead Advisory / Corporate Finance environments.

Particular interest in advisers with exposure to:

  • Technology
  • Software
  • Healthcare
  • Business Services
  • Professional Services
