Corporate Finance Advisory Associate – Northampton
About the Company
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre finance professional to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial Corporate Finance team based in Northampton.
About the Role
This role is ideally suited to a qualified accountant seeking to transition from audit or commercial finance into a strategic advisory environment, with direct exposure to:
- Transactions
- Value creation initiatives
- Senior client engagement
Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality:
- Business plans
- Financial models
- Information memoranda
- Strategic financial forecasts
- Support the execution of live transactions across the full deal lifecycle:
- Origination
- Through to completion
- Conduct market research and identify:
- Prospective acquisition targets
- Investors and buyers
- Assist with:
- Company valuations
- Exit planning strategies
- Fundraising activities
- Deliver and support financial due diligence engagements
- Analyse financial and commercial performance to support strategic decision-making
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring a high standard of service delivery
- Collaborate closely with:
- Senior stakeholders
- Advisers
- Transaction teams throughout deal execution

Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
- Background in:
- Audit
- Transaction Services
- Commercial Finance
Skills & Attributes
Required
- Strong analytical capability with excellent financial and commercial acumen
- Demonstrable interest in Corporate Finance, M&A, or Strategic Advisory
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
- Full UK driving licence
Preferred
- Ambitious and commercially minded individuals
