Corporate Finance Advisory Associate – Northampton

About the Company

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre finance professional to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial Corporate Finance team based in Northampton.

About the Role

This role is ideally suited to a qualified accountant seeking to transition from audit or commercial finance into a strategic advisory environment, with direct exposure to:

  • Transactions
  • Value creation initiatives
  • Senior client engagement

Responsibilities

  • Prepare high-quality:
    • Business plans
    • Financial models
    • Information memoranda
    • Strategic financial forecasts
  • Support the execution of live transactions across the full deal lifecycle:
    • Origination
    • Through to completion
  • Conduct market research and identify:
    • Prospective acquisition targets
    • Investors and buyers
  • Assist with:
    • Company valuations
    • Exit planning strategies
    • Fundraising activities
  • Deliver and support financial due diligence engagements
  • Analyse financial and commercial performance to support strategic decision-making
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring a high standard of service delivery
  • Collaborate closely with:
    • Senior stakeholders
    • Advisers
    • Transaction teams throughout deal execution

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
  • Background in:
    • Audit
    • Transaction Services
    • Commercial Finance

Skills & Attributes

Required

  • Strong analytical capability with excellent financial and commercial acumen
  • Demonstrable interest in Corporate Finance, M&A, or Strategic Advisory
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
  • Full UK driving licence

Preferred

  • Ambitious and commercially minded individuals
