Senior Solicitor – Insurance & Corporate Regulatory Practice (London)
A top-tier global law firm, recognised as tier 1 in all legal rankings, seeks an experienced solicitor to join their established and expanding insurance team. The firm specialises in the insurance sector with offices across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia.
About the Role
This is a senior solicitor position, reporting closely to partners and within the wider team on a broad range of corporate and insurance regulatory matters.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with ideally 4+ years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) (cases considered on a non-exclusive basis)
- Strong experience in corporate and insurance regulatory matters – candidates with solid corporate experience but regulatory work elsewhere within the team will also be considered
- Exceptional client relationship management skills

Key Responsibilities
- Work on a busy caseload of high-profile corporate, commercial and regulatory matters, with a focus on London market, non-life insurance and reinsurance clients
- Client base: Brand-name multinationals, startups, insurers, and investors
- Handle primarily transactional, commercial and advisory work, inclusive of:
- Insurance M&A (mergers, acquisitions)
- Corporate finance (capital raising, flotations, takeovers)
- Financial services advice
- Joint ventures & restructurings
- Equity investments & capital raisings
- Distribution arrangements
- Other insurance/reinsurance & regulatory matters (domestic & international)
- Play an important role in business development and client relationship management
