Taylor Root is pleased to be partnering with a highly regarded international law firm in its search for a Corporate Finance & ECM Senior Associate to join a growing and successful team in London.
The Team
This opportunity sits within the practice of a well-established Corporate Finance and Capital Markets partner with a longstanding reputation in the market. The team advises a diverse client base, including listed companies, international corporates, growth businesses, founders and investors, on a broad range of corporate finance and transactional matters.
The practice is known for its expertise across public takeovers, IPOs, equity fundraisings, acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations, governance matters and shareholder activism. Working closely with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions, the team delivers strategic advice on both domestic and cross-border transactions.

In addition, the group is part of a wider international capital markets platform, advising on a range of European and global securities transactions, including IPOs, secondary fundraisings, public M&A transactions, tender offers, debt offerings and restructurings. Clients include listed companies, financial institutions, brokers and sponsors.
The Role
Joining the team as a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in advising clients on a varied mix of corporate finance and equity capital markets matters. Responsibilities will include:
- Advising on IPOs, secondary fundraisings, public M&A transactions and other corporate finance mandates
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating transaction documentation
- Advising on relevant regulatory and governance requirements
- Managing complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions and coordinating with international colleagues
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through direct client contact
- Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth of the practice
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team

Candidate Profile
- England & Wales qualified solicitor with 4+ years' PQE
- Solid experience in corporate finance and equity capital markets gained at a leading City, international or specialist firm
- Strong technical drafting and transaction management skills
- Commercially minded with a pragmatic and client-focused approach
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
