The Role & The Work
In this current corporate market, Corporate Lawyers are playing a more strategic role than ever, advising not just on transactions but on growth, investment and long-term business direction.
This is an opportunity to join a market-leading Corporate team in Edinburgh, operating at the forefront of high-value domestic and international transactions. With a strong pipeline of work and a diverse client base, the team continues to build momentum across key growth sectors.
- You will work on a broad range of corporate transactions, advising leading UK and international businesses, as well as institutional investors.
- From M&A and private equity deals to complex corporate structuring, your work will be varied, high-quality and often cross-border in nature.
- The team has particular strength in sectors shaping the future economy, including technology, life sciences, energy and food & drink, giving you exposure to innovative and high-growth industries.

Working closely with specialists across Banking, Commercial, IP, Real Estate and Share Schemes, you will play a central role in delivering fully integrated, commercially focused advice on complex deals.
From the outset, you will take ownership of key aspects of transactions, working directly with clients while being supported by experienced colleagues invested in your development. This is a collaborative, high-performing environment where you will be encouraged to build your profile, develop client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
Your Experience
- UK Qualified Corporate Solicitor (4-7 PQE)
- Strong corporate transactional experience (M&A, investments, restructuring or similar)
- Experience working with corporate clients, investors or both
- Commercially aware with strong analytical and drafting skills
- Confident communicator with client-facing experience
- Ability to manage matters and deadlines effectively
- Collaborative mindset with ambition to progress
