Corporate Legal Specialist – Remote | $100 –$150/hr Part-Time | Remote (US, UK, Canada, or Australia) $100 –$150/hour | Hourly Contract About the Role A leading AI research lab is seeking experienced Legal professionals to join a project aimed at improving how AI systems understand, process, and reason about complex legal concepts. In this role, you will design challenging legal questions, evaluate AI-generated responses, and provide structured insights that shape the future of AI in the legal domain. This is a unique opportunity to apply your legal expertise to cutting-edge AI research while working remotely and flexibly. Key Responsibilities Develop and review legal questions and evaluation sets across multiple practice areas. Assess AI-generated legal responses for accuracy, clarity, and logical reasoning. Solve domain-specific legal problems to benchmark model capabilities. Synthesize complex legal information from statutes, case law, and academic sources. Provide structured, detailed feedback to align AI systems with legal standards and practices. Qualifications Advanced legal education or credentials (e.g., J.D., LL.M., S.J.D., Ph.D. in Law) from a top university. Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional written communication and attention to detail. Ability to synthesize information across diverse legal sources. Preferred: prior law practice or industry experience (litigation, corporate, regulatory, etc.). Location: Must be based in the U.S., U.K., Canada, or Australia. Project Details Start Date: Immediate. Duration: 4 weeks (with extension potential). Commitment: Part-time, ~20+ hours/week. Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous — work on your own schedule. Compensation & Contract Rate: $110–$130/hour (USD). Performance Incentives: Top performers may earn an additional $20–$100/hour bonus. Independent contractor engagement. Daily payments via Stripe Connect. Application & Onboarding Process Upload your resume and complete the application form.
