About the Role

The Corporate Medical Advisor provides strategic leadership and expert guidance on workforce health across global operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality medical practices. The role supports business continuity by embedding strong health governance and risk management frameworks.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define and continuously improve the company’s health management framework aligned with business strategy
  • Establish corporate standards, performance expectations, and governance for workforce health
  • Oversee internal and outsourced health services, ensuring consistent and effective delivery across regions
  • Monitor provider performance to ensure services meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Lead the end-to-end workforce health lifecycle, including fitness-for-work assessments, emergency care, and rehabilitation
  • Ensure integration of occupational health, primary care, emergency medicine, and preventive health services
  • Advise on compliance with international, offshore, and industry-specific health regulations
  • Identify and assess health risks, supporting enterprise risk management and incident investigations
  • Provide technical guidance to regional teams and build internal health capability
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to QHSE policies

About You

  • Degree-qualified medical professional with an Occupational Health qualification and experience in high-risk or remote environments
  • Must have certifications: Occupational Health Certification, Offshore Survival (BOSIET/FOET), MIST, and valid Advanced Life Support (ALS) or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of offshore medical standards, health risk management, and regulatory frameworks (e.g. IOGP, IADC)
  • Experience managing third-party health providers and working across multiple regions and cultures
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
