An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Partner to join a highly regarded law firm in Leeds. Working alongside a Legal 500 and Chambers recognised team, you will work on high value Corporate matters, play a key role in developing the practice, and help shape the future direction of the department as part of a planned succession strategy.

Description
The Corporate Partner will be:
- Advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and corporate restructures
- Acting for a broad range of owner managed businesses, investors and corporate clients across the region
- Building and developing long term client relationships
- Helping business development and marketing initiatives to expand the Corporate practice
- Supervising, mentoring and developing junior lawyers within the team
- Working closely with fellow partners on strategic growth plans
- Delivering commercially focused legal advice on complex Corporate matters
Profile
The Corporate Partner should be:

- A solicitor or equivalent with at least 9 years' PQE in Corporate law
- Experienced in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and complex Corporate transactions
- Able to demonstrate a strong following or established network across Yorkshire or the wider region
- Commercially minded with excellent client relationship skills
- An accomplished business developer with a track record of winning work
- An effective mentor with experience supervising and developing junior lawyers
- Motivated to contribute to the long term success of the firm
Job Offer
- Salary ranging from £100,000 to £150,000
- Generous 30 days of holiday leave.
