Role Overview
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced, MRICS‑qualified Real Estate Surveyor to join our Corporate Real Estate team within the Occupier Services division. Based in either our Peterborough or Birmingham office, this role offers the chance to work at the heart of a high‑performing, client‑focused team.
This is a strategic advisory position with responsibility for the proactive management of a diverse UK commercial property portfolio on behalf of major corporate occupiers. You’ll play a pivotal role supporting two flagship clients, including a large institutional estate and a national infrastructure portfolio, delivering joined‑up estate management solutions that directly support their wider business goals.
The role will see you leading on a broad range of property matters, including negotiating and managing consents across disposals and lettings, easements and wayleaves, alterations, under lettings, and service‑charge related issues - providing trusted advice and adding value at every stage of the asset lifecycle.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
