The Role
The role will primarily involve:
- Assisting in the management of the corporate group client portfolio
- Reviewing US Corporate and Partnership tax returns along with the associated underlying calculations applying the applicable US tax concepts (some preparing for complex returns)
- Carrying out research to provide technical solutions and deliverables for clients
- Preparing budgets
- Assisting with advice for advisory projects
- Corresponding with clients
- Guiding and supporting junior team members in their professional and personal growth
You will be involved in the research of US tax concepts, will demonstrate technical knowledge in US tax applicable to your grade and follow the developments in US taxation and relevant technology. You will be provided with opportunities to get involved with our clients’ businesses to develop your advisory and leadership skills.

Requirements
- Current US CPA, Enrolled Agent or similar qualification preferred, or progress towards becoming a US CPA, Enrolled Agent
- A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in corporate and/or partnership US tax compliance acquired ideally with a Big 4 or boutique firm serving international clients where you would have developed strong organizational and communications skills, as well as exceptional technical knowledge and ability to work under pressure
- Prior Private Equity Fund exposure will be a bonus
- Proficiency in Excel and a major tax preparation software required (CCH Axcess preferred)
- Ability to work as part of a team that is primarily virtual is critical, with high value placed on independent thinking that complements other team members
- You will need to meet UK legal working requirements. Applications from EU/EFTA nationals currently with no UK resident status and other Third-Party nationals will be considered in exceptional circumstances.
