About the Role

We are recruiting for an Account Assistant to support a fast-paced Corporate Service team, delivering exceptional client service and seamless sales support within a luxury retail environment.

This role plays a key part in supporting the Corporate Service team with both sales and operational activity, ensuring a smooth end-to-end experience for Harrods corporate clients. You will act as a central point of coordination across enquiries, orders, and internal processes, while consistently delivering a high standard of service and contributing to team success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting sales enquiries and assisting with the full sales cycle from initial client contact through to final delivery
  • Managing shared inboxes and coordinating communication to ensure timely and accurate responses
  • Assisting with order processing, tracking, and fulfilment, including gift cards and large corporate orders
  • Carrying out administrative duties such as data entry, purchase orders, diary management, and reporting
  • Maintaining excellent customer service standards while building strong internal and external relationships

Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs. Please see our Hybrid@Harrods policy on our Career Site for more information or speak to a member of our Talent Acquisition team if you have any questions regarding the requirements for this role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
