Full-time, Permanent

Salary & Terms

EVH Grade 5 – £31,792 – £35,332 (35 hours per week)

  • SHAPS defined benefit pension scheme
  • 25 days’ annual leave + 15 days’ public holiday per annum

The Role

The Corporate Services and Finance Assistant will provide administrative, corporate, finance, and HR support to ensure smooth operations across the Association.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Oversee daily office management, including governance, HR administration, and tenant communications
  • Carry out website updates and records management
  • Assist with training records and compliance-related tasks

Finance Administration

  • Process invoices, payments, and rent collections
  • Maintain financial records, assists with banking and reconciliations
  • Support payroll and basic HR functions
  • Generate reports to support decision-making

System Management

  • Proficiency in Homemaster (housing system) and Sage (finance system)
  • Accurate record-keeping and system reporting

Landlord & Client Relations

  • Represent the Association in professional, customer-focused interactions
  • Ensure all communications are ** confidential, accurate, and service-oriented**

Requirements

You will be selected if you have:

  • Relevant experience in administration, finance, customer service, or office support
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly for financial checks, record updates, and documentation
  • Ability to:
    • Manage a fast-paced workload
    • Work independently and prioritise tasks
    • Handle competing demands effectively
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with:
    • Tenants
    • Contractors
    • Colleagues within the team
  • A flexible, honest, and high-integrity approach to all duties

About the Team

  • Primary reporting line: Office Manager
  • Strong cross-team collaboration to deliver services with accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality
