Corporate Solicitor / Partner – Glasgow – Market Leading Salary + Benefits
A leading national law firm with a strong reputation across the UK is seeking a Corporate Partner to step into a Head of Corporate role within its Glasgow office. With significant strategic investment and an established national platform, this is a rare opportunity to take on a key leadership position in one of Scotland’s most active and growing business markets.
The firm is recognised for advising a high-quality and diverse client base, including entrepreneurial businesses, family-owned companies, private equity investors, and established corporates. This is a senior opportunity to lead a high-performing team, drive growth, and play a central role in shaping the firm’s corporate presence in Glasgow.
The Role:
- Leading a well-established corporate team, overseeing a broad range of high-value transactional and advisory work
- Advising on M&A transactions, business sales, and acquisitions across a variety of sectors
- Supporting clients on shareholder agreements, joint ventures, and investment matters
- Providing corporate governance advice and strategic guidance to clients
- Driving the growth and development of the Glasgow corporate practice
- Shaping regional strategy and enhancing the firm’s market presence
- Collaborating with national teams and leveraging cross-referral opportunities
- Maintaining strong client relationships while actively contributing to business development initiatives

About You:
- Experienced Corporate Partner or senior lawyer ready to step into a leadership role
- Strong reputation within the Scottish corporate market, ideally with a portable client following
- Proven track record in handling complex transactional work
- Commercially astute with strong strategic judgement
- An inspirational and collaborative leader with experience developing and mentoring teams
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to build and grow a market-leading practice
- Strong client relationship and business development skills
