Lester Aldridge is seeking an ambitious Solicitor/Associate Solicitor to join our highly regarded Corporate & Commercial team in Southampton or Bournemouth.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of high-quality corporate transactions, advising businesses, entrepreneurs, investors, and management teams across a variety of sectors.
You'll play a key role in delivering pragmatic, commercial advice while developing your career within a supportive and collaborative environment. The Opportunity
As part of our growing Corporate team, you'll advise clients on a range of matters including:
- Mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
- Management buyouts and investments
- Business sales and acquisitions
- Corporate restructures and reorganisations
- Shareholder agreements
- Corporate governance and compliance matters
You'll take ownership of transactions from instruction through to completion, working closely with clients and colleagues to deliver outstanding results.

What You'll Be Doing
- Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
- Leading and supporting corporate transactions
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documents
- Building long-term trusted relationships with clients
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
- Supporting and mentoring more junior team members
- Contributing to business development activities, networking, seminars and thought leadership
- Identifying opportunities to introduce clients to other specialist teams across the firm
- Staying up to date with legal developments and market trends
About You
We're keen to hear from lawyers who are:
- ✅ Confident managing corporate transactional work, particularly M&A matters
- ✅ Commercially minded and able to provide practical, business-focused advice
- ✅ Strong communicators with excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- ✅ Passionate about delivering exceptional client service
- ✅ Motivated to develop relationships and contribute to business development
- ✅ Collaborative team players who enjoy supporting colleagues and working across disciplines
- ✅ Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities effectively
