Corporate Solicitor (Senior Associate / Principal Associate)
 cálculo_locked Location**: Manchester, England 💰 Salary: £75,000 – £90,000
We’re working with one of the UK’s most respected law firms to find an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join a highly regarded and practice-focused team, which consistently delivers sophisticated, high-value work across a broad range of sectors.
This is not a role driven by unrealistic billing targets, rigid hierarchies, or the need to be the ‘smartest’ in the room. Instead, it’s a collaborative, commercially minded environment where talented lawyers work together to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
About the Role
You will:
- Serve a dynamic client base, including owner-managed businesses, high-growth companies, investors, and established national organisations.
- Handle commercially significant, often complex matters—positioning you central to strategic business decisions.
- Enjoy variety rather than specialisation, with exposure to multiple sectors and opportunities to build trusted client relationships.
- Deliver practical, commercially-focused legal advice, holding genuine relevance for decision-makers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
