Corporate Solicitor (5+ PQE) Location: Leicester

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join a well-established and growing Corporate team in Leicester. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse client base, advising on a broad range of high-quality corporate transactions while playing an active role in the continued growth of the team.

The Role

You will advise on a variety of corporate matters, including asset and share acquisitions and disposals, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures, employee ownership trusts, shareholder agreements, and other strategic business transactions. You will manage your own caseload, build lasting client relationships, and collaborate with experienced colleagues on complex and high-value matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on a wide range of corporate transactions.
  • Manage matters from instruction through to completion.
  • Draft and negotiate corporate documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional client service.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider corporate team.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and networking opportunities.
  • Manage financial aspects of matters, including time recording and billing.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in Corporate Law.
  • Strong experience in mergers and acquisitions, share and asset sales and purchases, corporate restructures, shareholder agreements, and employee ownership trusts.
  • Commercially minded with excellent technical and drafting skills.
  • Proven ability to manage your own caseload and build strong client relationships.
  • A proactive team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Keen to contribute to business development and support the continued growth of the team.
