About the role:
Join our team as a Corporate Strategy Consultant based at our offices either in London or Cirencester. This high profile opportunity you'll support the Chief Executive and Executive Committee in formulating and articulating the group’s strategy. Your role will be crucial in turning corporate strategy into annual business plans, building rapport with senior team members, and monitoring progress on delivery.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop regular insight outputs for the Executive Committee, Board, and senior leadership teams.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in the wealth management sector, delivering strategic trend analysis.
- Support strategic priority projects by framing problems, developing hypotheses, and presenting recommendations.
- Build commercial and financial analysis to support strategic choices.
- Assist in converting corporate strategy into quantifiable priorities and performance indicators.
- Produce high-quality executive and Board-level materials.
- Work with senior collaborators to gather insight and build alignment around strategic priorities.
- Support business units in developing operational plans that align with the corporate strategy.
- Communicate the strategy and business plan to key collaborator groups.

About you:
We are seeking someone with deep strategic expertise and a proven track record of successfully implementing corporate strategies. You should have outstanding analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience working as a Strategy Consultant or where developing and articulating strategy as been a big part of your role
- Detailed knowledge of the wealth management industry or financial services more generally.
- Previous experience presenting to, working with and influencing at executive level.
- Ability to structure problems, carry out data analysis, draw insights and provide recommendations.
- Strong systemic, critical, and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication and presentation skills.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in a finance or insurance position, experience of financial modelling would be an advantage
- Knowledge of the UK wealth management market, key competitors and associated regulations.
