This Strategy Manager will report to the Strategy Director for the Industrial Solutions Segment and will work on the Segment’s global strategy.

This position can be based in most locations in Europe, with travel expected less than 20% of the time to meet colleagues and clients, attend industry events, etc.

This is an opportunity for a talented individual who wants to accelerate his or her career within a leading multinational corporation and build a career within strategy or line roles.

As a member of the Industrial Solutions Strategy team, you will contribute to growth strategy, portfolio recommendations, competitive strategy, and business performance by working on strategic decisions and key business issues.

What You Will Do

  • Support development of robust strategic plan.
  • Effectively translate business requests into well-defined problems.
  • Collaborates with the Segment and with the Business Unit teams to solve complex business problems.
  • Develop strategies and approaches to fulfill complex project assignments in creative and meaningful ways.
  • Identify key trends across markets, industries, and competitors that affect our businesses.
  • Analyze industry structure, competitive dynamics, market attractiveness, technology and regulatory trends. Project likely evolutions to inform strategy development.
  • Create analytical models to address key business questions and translate output into clear stories.
  • Lead the overall fact base creation and communication process.
  • Contribute to the professional development of Analysts.

Your Ideal Background

Success in this role requires strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to solve complex challenges. You will collaborate across Strategy, Engineering, Product Management, Operations, and Business Unit leadership, translating technical insights into actionable business strategies.

Key Qualifications

  • Technical background in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in industrial product organizations within Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Program Management, or similar roles.
  • Proven experience in strategy development and execution in complex organizations.
  • Consulting experience at a top-tier management consulting firm serving industrial or high-tech clients is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex issues and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading teams and influencing across all organizational levels.
  • Strong relationship-building, collaboration, and cross-cultural leadership skills.
  • Passion for technology, continuous learning, and driving impactful business outcomes.
  • Hands-on approach with a commitment to execution, talent development, and delivering results.
