Corporate Tax Assistant Manager

As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager in Manchester, you'll play a key role in supporting the tax team with compliance and advisory work. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth handling of corporate tax matters for a range of clients in the professional services industry.

Description

  • Manage corporate tax compliance processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide support on tax advisory projects, including researching and interpreting tax legislation.
  • Assist in managing client relationships, acting as a point of contact for tax-related queries.
  • Review and prepare tax computations and returns.
  • Support the team in identifying and mitigating tax risks for clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated services to clients.
  • Mentor junior team members, offering guidance and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and share insights with the team.

Profile

A Successful Corporate Tax Assistant Manager Should Have

  • Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax regulations and compliance.
  • Experience with tax advisory and compliance work in the professional services industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA would be advantageous.
