Corporate Tax Assistant Manager
We're supporting a fantastic, well-known firm of chartered accountants based in Tunbridge Wells, seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join their growing team.
The successful candidate will be:
- Developing effective relationships with a varied and interesting client portfolio.
- Operating in a hybrid role between home and office working.
- Benefiting from excellent career development potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing and preparing corporate tax returns, including more complex filings
- Handling enquiries from HMRC
- Contacting clients to gather additional information
- Identifying and supporting clients with tax planning opportunities
- Conducting research projects
- Addressing queries regarding tax filings or payments from HMRC
- Collaborating with Partners to provide advice on:
- R&D tax relief
- Loss relief
- Capital allowances
- Group reorganisations
- Employee share schemes
- Supporting Managers and Partners with staff management

Requirements
- Previous corporate tax experience within a UK Accountancy Practice
- ATT/CTA/ACCA or ACA qualification (or currently studying)
- Advantageous familiarity with tax software
- Strong corporate awareness and relationships-building skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage and multitask workload effectively

- £50,000 - £60,000 salary (dependent on experience/background, negotiable)
