A highly successful global investment and technology-led business is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join its growing London-based tax team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys being close to the business, taking ownership of compliance and reporting processes, and working within a fast-paced international environment. The role sits within a growing in-house tax function and offers significant exposure to complex cross-border structures and a broad range of corporate tax matters.

Working closely with senior tax leadership, you will play a key role in supporting the group's corporate tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions while helping to drive process improvements as the business continues to expand.

  • Prepare and review UK corporate tax computations and returns.
  • Support the management of international corporate tax compliance activities through external advisers.
  • Assist with tax reporting and provisioning processes.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess potential impacts on the group.
  • Support tax audits, enquiries and information requests from tax authorities.
  • Work closely with finance, legal and operational stakeholders across the business.
  • Assist with ad hoc tax projects relating to new entities, business growth initiatives and structural changes.
  • Contribute to the development of tax processes, controls and governance frameworks.

Candidate Profile

  • ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualified.
  • Trained within a Big 4 or Top 10 accounting firm tax practice.
  • Experience working in corporate tax, ideally with a combination of practice and in-house experience.
  • Strong hands-on corporate tax compliance and reporting experience.
  • Comfortable working with complex organisational structures and international operations.
  • Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable and keen to develop within a growing tax function.

The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to join a sophisticated and rapidly growing international business where tax is viewed as a strategic function. You will work alongside an experienced Head of Tax and gain exposure to challenging and varied technical issues while retaining meaningful ownership of day-to-day tax compliance matters.

The position would suit an individual moving from practice into industry, or someone with existing in-house experience seeking broader exposure and greater responsibility within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
