About the Role

We’re tax technicianspuesta driven by ambitious growth and proactive solutions. Our Corporate and Multinational tax team specialises in navigating the evolving corporate tax landscape for complex businesses—ensuring compliance, managing risk, and delivering tailored, high-value guidance.

We thrive on blending technical expertise with commercial savvy, building deep client relationships rooted in trust. Our work demands global insight, bold problem-solving, and a collaborative spirit. We’re rapidly expanding and seeking an ambitious Assistant Manager to help us succeed.

As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you’ll:

  • Advising clients on a broad spectrum of tax issues across compliance and advisory projects
  • Managing tax provisions and filings, ensuring deadlines are met with excellence
  • Preparing technical advisory reports and tactical tax compliance documentation
  • Engaging directly with clients—solving challenges, clarifying matters, and delivering on advisory projects
  • Overseeing project workflow (budgets, WIP, deadlines) and day-to-day operations
  • Coaching and mentoring juniors to foster skill growth

Requirements

Essential:

  • Professional qualification (e.g., AT1, CTA, ACA, CIMA, ICAS)
  • Post-qualification experience managing recurring tax client portfolios
  • Exceptional UK corporation tax knowledge and a client advisory mindset

Preferred (but not mandatory):

  • Background in corporate tax provisioning and advisory work
  • Familiarity with hybrid mismatch rules, interest deductibility, CFC regime, Pillar 2 compliance, tax computations
  • Technical problem-solving confidence in high-stakes, cross-border transactions
  • Skill with Alphatax, Power BI, Microsoft Office, and related tools
