Our Client

A well-established mid-tier professional services firm in London, rooted in over 75 years of accountancy history and recently certified as a B Corp. They are a team of 250 and growing fast. The firm provides a broad suite of services spanning Audit & Assurance, Corporate Finance, Business Advisory, HR, and Wealth Management alongside deep expertise in Corporate Taxation.

Location: London, UK (you should be authorized to work in the UK)

Work type: Full time, Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days work from home)

Overview

We’re seeking a Corporate Tax and International Tax Assistant Manager or Manager to join our client’s Tax Advisory team. The role involves managing a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple jurisdictions, handling both tax compliance and advisory matters. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality tax solutions and advising on international tax implications, while also contributing to business development and collaboration across service lines.

Key Responsibilities

Maintains up-to-date CPD and a strong understanding of current tax legislation. Capable of preparing detailed tax computations manually, without software dependency. Skilled in managing multiple client accounts simultaneously. Strong ability to multitask and work within set budgets. Able to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively. Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively.

Qualifications

Fully qualified Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA). Strong technical knowledge of tax accounting, compliance, and preparation of tax returns. Familiarity with international tax issues affecting global organizations. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Excellent communication skills for effectively conveying complex financial information. Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
