About the role...

Are you a motivated Part Qualified Tax Associate or Tax Assistant looking to grow within corporate tax? Want to join a firm that is evolving with the times and can propel your growth? Our Business Tax team is growing, and we’re currently seeking a Tax Associate to join them on their journey. This role is available to be worked from our Sky View, Derby Hub.

About the day to day…

As a Part Qualified Tax Associate, you'll gain hands-on experience working with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing them with tailored tax solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and vibrant environment. You’ll get stuck into a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities, including;

  • Looking after a portfolio of clients ranging from big businesses, PE backed and OMBs
  • The preparation of corporate tax computations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
  • Supporting with tax disclosures for statutory accounts
  • Actively managing both client and internal deadlines
  • Collaborating with senior team members to develop and implement tax strategies
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service
  • Staying informed about changes in tax regulations and industry best practices
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of tax-related projects

About you...

In addition, as a Tax Associate you will be/have;

  • Part qualified in a relevant qualification (e.g., ATT, ACA)
  • Experience in a tax or accounting role, ideally within an accountancy practice
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A proactive mindset and a genuine interest in tax
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple tasks
