Role Overview

As a Corporate Tax Associate, you will be an integral part of a high-performing tax compliance and advisory team in our London office. The team supports and advises a range of interesting and expanding companies who operate in a range of sectors, such as technology, manufacturing, leisure and tourism, retail, professional services and construction to name just a few.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Delivering a high-quality annual corporation tax compliance service to our clients as part of a wider team across a range of industries and channels, including the preparation and review of tax computations, tax for accounting provisions and dealing with general enquiries, such as tax filings or tax payments due.
  • Working closely with specialist colleagues on interesting and varied tax advice relevant to your client portfolio - including loss relief, tax relief on interest, transfer pricing, R&D tax relief, capital allowances, group reorganisations, shareholder reorganisations, international tax matters and acquisitions & disposals.
  • Continually wanting to improve your technical knowledge, client relationship and organisational skills to develop your own career.
  • Being passionate about ‘growing our own’ by coaching and developing junior members of the team.
  • Enjoying working with different tax teams and service lines to get experience in providing premium solutions focused advice to our clients.
  • Ensuring that clients' tax affairs comply with statutory requirements and managing compliance work efficiently, while maintaining tax quality by always adhering to the Firm’s standards.

What we are looking for

We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

  • Preferably someone who is part qualified in either an accountancy or tax qualification (e.g. ACA, CTA).
  • Background in an accountancy practice with good knowledge of corporate tax.
  • Proven experience in dealing with clients and working within a team.
  • Experience of using specialist tax software is advantageous.
