The Role
As a Senior Manager within the Corporate Tax team, you will oversee a varied portfolio of corporate tax compliance and advisory assignments for a broad range of clients. You will act as a trusted adviser, ensuring high-quality service delivery while building long-term client relationships.
Alongside managing compliance work, you will collaborate with senior leadership on advisory and consultancy projects, providing exposure to a wide range of technical and commercial challenges. You will also play a key role in developing junior team members, driving business growth, and contributing to the ongoing success of the wider tax practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate tax compliance clients across multiple sectors.
- Deliver high-quality corporate tax compliance and advisory services.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted business adviser.
- Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client portfolios.
- Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members, supporting their technical and professional growth.
- Work closely with colleagues across specialist tax and advisory teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
- Support business development initiatives, proposals, and networking activities.
- Participate in advisory and consultancy assignments alongside core compliance responsibilities.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and HMRC guidance.
- Manage project delivery, financial performance, and client deadlines effectively.

About You
You will be an experienced corporate tax professional with strong technical expertise and a commercial mindset.
You will ideally have:

- ACA, ACCA, CTA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Significant experience in corporate tax gained within professional practice and/or industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax compliance and advisory matters.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- A proactive and commercial approach to identifying opportunities for clients.
- Experience managing multiple client engagements and leading teams.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
- A genuine interest in mentoring others and contributing to a positive team culture.
